As a coach and consultant, Deb Zuver brings a wealth of transition strategies to her coaching practice. She works with youths, educators, and families on a range of transition areas using practical tools and resources.
Deb's many years of experience in clinical, educational, and community settings have given her a practical understanding of learning differences, family systems, skills training, and strategic planning to help you move forward in your life.

In her position with the Carolina Institute for Developmental Disabilities at UNC, Deb directs Project STIR (Steps Toward Independence and Responsibility). She promotes self-advocacy and leadership for youths and young adults with developmental disabilities (DD), including those on the autism spectrum. Deb cofacilitates the NC Postsecondary Education (PSE) Alliance to expand PSE opportunities for students with DD, including autism. She participates on the state transition team through the NC Department of Public Instruction and presents at local, state, and national conferences on transition issues.
Deb earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Elementary Education at Marquette University; her Masters in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Drama Therapy is from Antioch University. She is licensed as a family therapist in North Carolina and in California and registered as Drama Therapist by the North American Drama Therapy Association.
